The President’s Polytheism
Clayton Spronk critiques President Obama's religious pluralism and interfaith participation as a subtle form of polytheism that compromises Christian conviction, distinguishing it from explicit polytheistic religions like Mormonism. Prior to last year's presidential election I wrote an article about Mormonism, the religion of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney (see the Feb. 15, 2012 Standard Bearer). Mormonism is well-known as a polytheistic religion, that is, a religion that believes in the existence of many gods.
