“and I lay down my life for the sheep” John 10:15b Of course He does!  For many glorious reasons. “I am the good shepherd,” so He speaks in the preceding verse, “and know my sheep, and am known of mine.”  He knows, recognizes and acknowledges them as His own; and they know, recognize and acknowledge Him as their own.
