  1. Belshazzar’s Haughtiness. A. Not only against other men, but against Jehovah, Belshazzar was haughty. B. This haughtiness of Belshazzar is significant for several reasons.
  2. Babylon’s Destruction. A. Written on the wall, Belshazzar saw a prophecy from God that Babylon would be destroyed. B. This prophecy was fulfilled. C. The fulfillment of this prophecy assures us that also the kingdom of AntiChrist will be destroyed!
  3. Jehovah’s Vindication. A. In the destruction of Babylon past and future, Jehovah vindicates His people. B. In the destruction of Babylon past and future, Jehovah vindicates Himself.
