Martyn McGeown examines the Charismatic and Pentecostal movements in light of the 2013 Strange Fire Conference, analyzing the theological divide between Cessationism (the view that apostolic gifts have ceased) and Continuationism (the view that such gifts continue today). The article critiques the dangers of Continuationist positions, particularly among Reformed pastors like John Piper and Mark Driscoll, whose advocacy lends respectability to Charismatic theology among younger Calvinists.
