As already announced, we have completed our ex­planation of Jacob's blessings. The lines of the aggre­gate of these utterances, so we wrote, diverge upon Christ and His people. Their total comprise the floor upon which the prophets of subsequent ages stood and at once the flower, the further unfolding, of the first promise given in Paradise.
