ROMANS 4:1 4:25 In order to understand the teaching of the apostle here we must pay due attention to the relationship of this Chapter to the former Chapter, verses 21-31. The relationship is as follows: Man, both Jew and Gentile, is hopelessly lost “under sin.” By the law is the knowledge of sin. However, God has an altogether different way of salvation.
