Question: Who were the “sons of Korah” mentioned as authors of several Psalms? Answer: Psalm 45-49, 85 and 88 bear superscriptions that contain the statement, “A Psalm for the sons of Korah”; let us take notice for and not by. It indicates that the sons of Korah were not the authors of these psalms. The author of these psalms was David.
