Huizinga examines the nature of good works from a scriptural perspective, establishing that works are conscious, volitional deeds performed by rational moral beings that require genuine effort and energy. This article provides a foundational theological framework for understanding the character and necessity of Christian good works in the life of the believer, grounded in careful biblical exegesis and Reformed anthropology.
