The story of the mutiny aboard H.M.S. Bounty, and the history of Pitcairn Island is by no means a new one. It is an oft’ told tale. There are, no doubt, very few of you who have never heard of either the Bounty or of Pitcairn Island. I became interested in its his­tory through the synopsis of Nordhoff &Hall’s “Mutiny on the Boun­ty” which appeared in The Read­ers Digest several years ago. Chas.
