This editorial introduction highlights the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in Zurich, focusing on Ulrich Zwingli's revolutionary practice of preaching directly from the Bible and his successor Heinrich Bullinger's contributions. The article aims to educate Reformed believers about this often-overlooked aspect of the Reformation that occurred between Luther's German Reformation and Calvin's work in Geneva.
As the front cover indicates, our annual Reformation issue is devoted to the Reformation in Zurich. The decision to highlight Zurich is based largely on the fact that this year marks the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in this city located in the northeast side of Switzerland.
