This brief clarification from the Student Aid Committee president addresses misconceptions about the Seminary Student Assistance Fund that were published in a synodical preview article. The letter explains the fund's actual usage patterns and clarifies its purpose beyond emergency assistance, demonstrating the practical workings of denominational financial support for ministerial education within the PRCA's institutional structures.

The Student Aid Committee desires to correct two misconceptions that were conveyed in your Synodical Preview article "Blessings and Opportunities" (May 15, 2014, p. 364). Both had to do with the special Seminary Student Assistance Fund administered by the Student Aid Committee.
