Herman Hoeksema's exegetical article arguing against the doctrine of common grace by interpreting Romans 1:24-25, which describes God's wrath actively driving sinners deeper into sin rather than restraining it. The piece employs the metaphor of a man sliding down an icy slope to illustrate how God's unchanging operation of wrath propels the unregenerate toward judgment without any mitigating common grace.
