BRITISH REFORMED JOURNAL Mr. Andrew Clarke Presbyterianism and Christmas have never been terribly friendly. To Scrooge's "Bah, humbug", we tend to reply, "Amen". Part of this unease stems from concern over the purity of worship, and opposition to special days being made holy for observation by the church. This is a valid concern and still of relevance today.
