The Cry for Pardon (Ps. 25:11)
Beautiful words we find in this Psalm. The covenant relation of God and His people is revealed throughout it. This is clear from the context in all that precedes and follows the text. The poet addresses God by His covenant Name, Jehovah. Only in and through that Name pardon is possible. And speaking of pardon, God's ways became the ways of mercy and truth to him. Therefore, the whole of the Psalm presents a man vexed in spirit and reveals the deepest emotion of one who cries for deliverance....
