What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of parables? For me, it is how much I enjoy Jesus putting the Pharisees in their place through the use of parables. Time and time again, the Pharisees consulted among themselves and then came to Jesus with an accusation, thinking they finally had him cornered, and then Jesus outmaneuvered them and showed them the folly of their ways.
