The Belgic Confession and missions (5)
This article examines Article 27 of the Belgic Confession to demonstrate how the Reformed confession grounds the church's missionary calling in proper ecclesiology. Kleyn argues that understanding the church's catholicity and unity—as sustained by the Holy Spirit—is foundational to developing a mission-minded posture that recognizes the necessity of worldwide gospel proclamation for gathering God's elect people.
