Our Church Order (Article 3)

The former article dealt with the matter of the lawful calling. The views expressed are in the need of some explanation and amplification. I set out with the statement that the lawful calling to the ministry of the word belongs to a class of call­ings that pertains to the offices Christ instituted in His church.
