Rev. Herman Hoeksema's pamphlet provides a Reformed amillennial interpretation of Revelation 20 and the millennium, examining key prophetic themes such as Satan's binding, the reign of saints with Christ, and the final rebellion of Gog and Magog. Rather than satisfying curiosity about the future, Hoeksema argues that biblical prophecy serves to strengthen the church's faith and hope by illuminating God's sovereign purposes throughout history. This work represents an important contribution to Protestant Reformed eschatological theology and Hoeksema's personal theological exposition.

Although in this pamphlet it is hardly possible to avoid a comparison of the views and interpretations here offered with those of the Premillennial brethren, yet its contents are not chiefly of a controversial nature.
