Fear God and Not Man

How easy it is for us to fear man more than we fear God. We often are so blind and foolish. We imagine that, since man can be seen and God cannot be seen, man is therefore more to be feared. Yet we know that there is so much more reason to fear God than man. When we fear God there is no reason to fear man. Everywhere Scripture exhorts us not to fear man but to fear God.
