The Martini-Church in Groningen
Far in the northeastern part of The Netherlands you find the city of Groningen (in the local tongue this is pronounced: Gron). It is the biggest city in that part of the country and I have been there many times over the years. The Martini-Church was built in the thirteenth century and the tower (96 meters high) partly in the fifteenth and partly in the sixteenth century. The church is named after Martinus van Tours.
