This article describes the opening of the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. in November 2017, founded by Steve Green of Hobby Lobby, which houses over 40,000 biblical artifacts and manuscripts across 430,000 square feet. The museum aims to engage the public with the Bible through three exhibition floors covering biblical history, its impact on world and U.S. history, and the textual history of the Bible itself.
