Covenant Evangelical Reformed Church—Our Newest Sister
This article by Russell Dykstra introduces the Covenant Evangelical Reformed Church (CERC) in Singapore to Protestant Reformed Churches (PRC) readers following the establishment of a formal sister church relationship in 2011-2012. Dykstra provides historical context for the five-year process of denominational contact and fellowship, and begins to acquaint PRC members with CERC's character, location, and spiritual life based on his extended visits to the congregation.
In June, 2011, the Contact Committee of the PRC came to synod with a mutually agreed upon arrangement for a full-sister relationship with the Covenant Evangelical Reformed Church in Singapore.
