Historic Church of Puhoi
More than a century ago many immigrants came to New Zealand. Usually one of the first things they did was build a church. This church in Puhoi (North of the harbor city of Auckland) is a good example. Made of hard emu-wood (like oak), covered with steel plates. The drawing is a restored reproduction of a sketch made in 1880. ♦
